Unlocking the Earth’s Energy

through disciplined exploration and innovation.

Who is Oriah Geothermal?

Built by experts who understand geothermal from the ground up.

GET IN TOUCH

Oriah Geothermal, LLC was formed in October 2025 to evaluate and develop geothermal resources across extensive landholdings in the United States. The company’s business strategy is rooted in the proven ability of its investors and affiliates to advance innovative technologies that unlock underdeveloped resource potential and to pursue disciplined, staged development paths that create long-term asset value.

In the geothermal context, this means using exploration, subsurface characterization, and leading-edge drilling techniques to reduce uncertainty, inform resource and commercial decision-making, and support future development of clean, baseload renewable energy. Our approach is built on a commitment to innovation and a conviction that responsibly developed geothermal energy can deliver reliable, clean power to the grid for generations to come.

Our Approach

Staged development built on data, discipline, and innovation.

Exploration

& Characterization
We begin with rigorous desktop analysis and field surveys to identify high-potential geothermal targets within our land positions, combining 3G data to characterize the subsurface before any drilling commitment.

Leading Edge

Drilling & Completions
Reservoir development and monitoring enhanced through leading-edge hydraulic stimulation techniques, high-grade ceramic proppant to withstand geothermal environments, integration of real-time data monitoring systems and advanced AI-driven optimization programs.

Staged

Asset Development
Each phase of development is designed to confirm value before committing to the next. This disciplined progression protects capital, allows partners to make well-informed decisions, and positions assets for long-term commercial success as resource confidence grows.

Why Geothermal?

Clean, firm energy from the Earth itself.

24/7

Clean Power

Geothermal generation is not dependent on weather, sunlight, or wind. It delivers consistent, dispatchable power around the clock, with near ZERO carbon emissions.

STABLE

long-term costs
With a free heat source and largely fixed operating costs, geothermal can provide predictable long-term energy pricing that few other power sources can match.

Near

50+

Year Asset Life

Well-managed geothermal fields have operated continuously for decades. The resource does not deplete as oil and gas reservoirs do, supporting long-duration energy infrastructure investments.

Modern Enhanced Geothermal Systems technology has expanded the geographic reach of geothermal development far beyond traditional hydrothermal zones. By engineering permeability in hot dry rock formations, EGS opens access to geothermal resources across much broader land positions than was previously possible.

Geothermal energy is increasingly recognized by grid operators, policymakers, and utilities as a critical source of firm renewable capacity. As variable generation grows across the Western Interconnect, the value of baseload, clean power continues to increase, creating a favorable long-term market environment for well-positioned developers.

The subsurface skills developed over decades by the U.S. oil and gas industry translate directly to geothermal development. Directional drilling, reservoir stimulation, downhole sensing, and well completion techniques all apply, giving experienced operators a meaningful head start.

Geothermal power plants require significantly less surface area than equivalent wind or solar installations. This smaller footprint simplifies permitting, reduces land use conflicts, and supports responsible development across diverse landholdings.
